Make every process parameter traceable

FLOWTECH specializes in online analytical instruments and integrated system engineering. From reactor oxygen measurement and control and inline density or particle-size measurement to corrosion-resistant composite-material valves and precise dosing systems — what we deliver is not a single instrument, but a functional loop that can be accepted on site.

Industry solutions

Across four industries, we solve the same kind of problem

Process parameters that cannot be seen, are measured too slowly or cannot be controlled — change the industry and the pain points look surprisingly similar.

Lithium battery precursor

Three main threads: reactor oxygen safety, inline solution concentration, and metal-foreign-matter control.

Lithium recovery from battery recycling

Instrument and valve life in fluoride-bearing strong acids, and stable measurement of solids-laden slurry.

Salt-lake lithium extraction

Corrosion in high-salinity brine, maintenance at remote sites, and inline judgment of the evaporation end point.

Phosphorus chemical industry

Impurity control from industrial grade to battery grade, and the online upgrade of iron phosphate lines.

FAQ

The questions engineers ask us most

These answers come from the field, not from product manuals.

Which valve materials resist corrosion in the lithium battery industry?

For lithium precursor and lithium extraction service, composite-material valves (FRP/PP/PVDF etc.) should be preferred over stainless steel. The reason is not just corrosion resistance — the decisive factor is metal foreign-matter control. Read the full answer →

How should reactor oxygen content be measured?

For reactor inerting, optical fluorescence (quenching) is the recommended route: it is immune to solvent vapor and acidic background gases and needs little maintenance; electrochemical suits ppm-level trace oxygen, while paramagnetic and zirconia have their own boundaries. The technology route is only the starting point — sample conditioning decides long-term usability. Read the full answer →

What is the difference between non-metal and metal valves in lithium battery duty?

The difference is not only corrosion resistance — it is metal ion release, failure mode and lifecycle cost. In lithium battery duty the core value of a non-metal valve is physically cutting off the metal contamination path. Read the full answer →

What is the temperature limit of composite-material valves? In which duty can they not be used?

The temperature limit of a composite-material valve is jointly determined by material, pressure and medium — there is no single number. Reference ranges for common systems: PP approx. 90°C, PVDF approx. 140°C, with PTFE lining and FRP determined by the lining process and resin system. Read the full answer →

How often should a pH electrode be replaced? Which duty accelerates failure?

A pH electrode is a consumable — there is no fit-and-forget electrode. Field experience typically gives 6 to 18 months; the difference comes mainly from temperature, medium and daily maintenance, not from brand. Read the full answer →

New plant of the Changsha Service & Engineering Center
About FLOWTECH

Two sites, so service stays close to the customer

Our Shenzhen headquarters handles sales, technical proposals and project management; the new plant of the Changsha Service & Engineering Center is now in operation, providing lithium battery customers in Hunan and the neighboring provinces with local spare-parts inventory and technical support.

We are an authorized distributor of Emerson automation flow-control valve products for the lithium battery industry, and a partner of Hamilton (Switzerland) process sensors (electrodes) for the same industry. Our focus is integration — combining instruments, valves and sample conditioning into functional loops that can be accepted on site.

Whatever the duty, we have seen it in the field — let us help you avoid the pitfalls.

Not sure which material to pick? Electrodes failing without an obvious cause? Tell us your medium, temperature, pressure and site problems directly — our sales-application engineers will work out a practical proposal on the spot: a solid selection recommendation and a pitfall checklist, no empty talk.
